Reunion 2008

What a wonderful night it was! The first Parksley High School ‘Farewell to Our School’ has come and gone but not before leaving it’s mark on over 300 attendees who got together to share some wonderful memories, meet new friends and say goodbye to an old one. The Reunion was a smashing success because of all of YOU who attended, and the following people who gave tirelessly of their time, talent, and sweat to ensure it’s success.
Denise and Alan Bernard, Brenda Payne, Kim Bundick, Martha Simpson, Dean Lewis and Sharon, Buster Bagwell, Freddie and David Matthews and the PVFD, Glen Goard, Richard Lewis, Wayne Young and the Coast to Coast Band, H.M. Johnson, and the best Master of Ceremonies you could ask for, my dear friend Pate Matthews.
Last, but far from the least, are everybody’s friends, Libby and Stan Willis. Coming up from Florida 2 weeks before the reunion, they did so much to make the reunion a success, from the name tags to the school mural. So now, Stan Willis (aka Stanley Mac) is Officially an Honorary Parksley High School Alumni (and he doesn’t even have to take Mrs. Scott’s Trigonometry class). Check out Libby’s Website on her trip to the reunion.
Thanks to everyone who stayed around and helped clean up. If I’m leaving anyone out, please forgive me, or email me and I’ll correct the omission.
